Invest in Community, not Cages! Media Advocacy Plan - 2015

In the fall of 2015, Angela Aguilar, Lauren Luna-Valdez and I worked with CURB and the Ella Baker Center on a media advocacy plan for a campaign to direct savings generated through Proposition 47 to community services, not new jails or jail-based services. The plan was developed for Lori Dorfman's Mass Communications in Public Health course during my graduate program in Public Health at UC Berkeley.
